Specialising in the medical sector, we have spent much time becoming familiar with both the environment and pressures to keep services operating quickly and efficiently.
The unwieldy nature of traditional SF6 handling equipment makes it extremely awkward or even impossible to use in medical settings. As a result, ‘gas bags’ are commonly used to capture SF6 but their lack of mechanical removal cannot extract the full charge of gas. This leaves some of the highly potent greenhouse gas to escape, damaging the environment and breaching F Gas regulations. To solve this problem, we have developed a small, portable alternative so interventions can be carried out rapidly to prevent loss of clinical time while simultaneously protecting the environment.
Our new Gas Caddy packs everything required into a secure suitcase-style solution that can be easily transported and operated by one person.
The lightweight Gas Caddy not only makes life easier for SF6 Recovery’s team to attend and access service jobs – it also opens up the opportunity for hospitals to purchase or lease their own device and have their technical staff trained by SF6 Recovery to undertake gas recovery in urgent situations.
Once used, the Gas Caddy can be taken from site for final gas recovery by heavier duty equipment and then returned for future use.

There are a range of options to enable use of the equipment including outright purchase, lease and ad hoc rental. We provide full training, ensuring staff health and safety as well as environmentally responsible operation.
